Who is EZ Jigs (Chefwarekits)?
EZ Jigs (Chefwarekits) is a family owned business which is known for its unique, innovative and easy to use EZ Jigs woodturning jigs. We started out selling a large assortment of kitchen focused woodturning jigs which is where the name "chefwarekits" came from but over the years we move into selling and then manufacturing our unique line of EZ Jigs for woodturning.

The owner of EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits), Craig Lapiana, developed a love for woodworking and beekeeping while holding an Army command in 2004 while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He figured woodworking and raising honey bees would be a healthy way to get back into a "civilian mode" on return from war.
Soon after his return to the states in 2005 Craig built a woodworking shop which led to the purchase of a woodturning lathe and the real journey began. Looking to expand his skills on the lathe led to the creation of unique custom kitchen utensils which attracted a lot of attention from fellow woodturners which in turn led to the birth of EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits). Soon over 50+ woodturning kits were being imported from all over the world and the offering quickly became known for being unique and of high quality.
What started out as a hobby became overwhelming with the demand for kits and it forced Craig to have to decide between pursuing EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) fulltime or continuing his career at IBM. It was a very hard choice but after many years of serious prayer Craig went after EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) fulltime.
A few years past and the 3 major players in the woodturning market took notice of the excitement that EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) woodturning kits developed and they introduced kits based off the top sellers that EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) was offering. Craig saw the "writing on the wall" and knew a small family run business could not compete in this market and quickly moved his primary focus over to manufacturing woodturning jigs made and supported in the USA.
Now EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) is known for their unique and high quality jigs made right here in New Hampshire. Craig preforms all the design, programming and operation of each CNC machine required to make the complex jigs which EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) now offers.
The road from woodworking to woodturning to "chipping metal" was a long one but Craig has finally found his passion in the process of CNC manufacturing. EZ Jigs (ChefwareKits) continues to grow but still has a reputation as being a small family owned business capable of delivering unique high quality products backed by top shelf customer service.
