What is repeatability?
Our innovative "swing over the top" sphere jig design allows for easy repeatability. Once roughed by hand it takes the sphere jig 2-3 mins to make them a perfect 1-1/2in diameter sphere!
Will it really create a perfect sphere?
Yes a true perfect sphere can be easily achieved using our jig. The red outline is a prefect sphere overlay which was placed over a picture of a sphere cut with our carbide wood bit. A little sanding and you are done!
What is a Wood Lathe Drawbar?
A draw bar is used to secure the cutter in the lathe spindle hole.
Our kit includes the Collet MT#2, Cutter and the Black Knob with Nut to create a draw bar.
You need to provide the 3/8in x 16 tpi All Thread Rod which you can purchase at a Hardware Store.
