This kit enables you to create wood sphere balls using your EZ Threading Combo Jig which easily bolts onto a EZ Threading combo jig allowing it to be able to cut a perfect wooden sphere using your woodturning lathe.
Unique "over-the-top" design makes it easy to setup allowing you to cut a perfect sphere every time and a Thread cutting add-on option is available.

FAQ
What is repeatability? Our innovative "swing over the top" sphere jig design allows for easy repeatability. Once roughed by hand it takes the sphere jig 2-3 mins to make them a perfect 1-1/2in diameter sphere!
Will it really create a perfect sphere? Yes a true perfect sphere can be easily achieved using our jig. The red outline is a prefect sphere overlay which was placed over a picture of a sphere cut with our carbide wood bit. A little sanding and you are done!
Which jig does this work with? The EZ Threading COMBO jig
Where is the EZ Sphere jig made? We make the EZ Sphere jig in New Hampshire in our CNC shop.
Is it easy to setup? Yes! the design of the cutting action sweeping over the top makes the jig very easy to setup on center and use.
What size sphere can be cut? From 1in to 8in in diameter
Can the wood carbide cutter be used on resin? We do not recommend using the wood carbide cutter on resin because the negative rake of the resin cutter is much superior when cutting resin and or a hybrid blank.
Who makes the carbide cutting bits? The wood carbide bit is imported and the resin negative rake carbide bit is made by Easy Wood Tools.
Does the same carbide tool holder work for both carbide bits (resin and wood)? Yes
