Making an Open/Segment Vertical Jig has never been easier by using one of our Open/Segment Vertical Jig Post w/ Index Wheel

Our EZ Steel Index wheel slips over a machined step in the jig post allowing it to be perfectly centered which is held in place using a scroll chuck or faceplate.

Once the Index Wheel is secured to the vertical post you slip it into a hole which you drill into some MDF boards.

Chose a 1-1/4in x 8tpi or a 1in x 8tpi threaded Jig post to match your needs.

Includes:

1 - Open/Closed Segment Vertical Jig Post
1 - EZ Index Wheel Steel (12in Index Wheel with a 1in or 1-1/4in dia center hole)

Optional:

Height Ring (1-5/8in) - A height ring can be helpful to allow fine adjustments to be made of how far above the MDF the index wheel will spin.

Here is an example of our Vertical Jig Post being used to create an Open Segment piece.

NOTE - After your purchase one of our vertical jig post you still need other items to make the completed jig pictured below. ie: MDF Wood, aluminum channel pieces etc

1 - Assemble your Jig base

- MDF Main Base
- EZ Index Wheel Support Block
- Vertical Aluminum Channel Piece
- Pin Locking Block

2 - Insert the Vertical Jig Post (shim if needed)

3 - Place the EZ Index Wheel over the machined step on the Vertical Jig Post

4 - Secure the Index Wheel to the Vertical Jig post using a faceplate etc.

5 - Use your new Vertical Open/Closed Segment Jig!
